Nick photographed our wedding last November at The Farm at Old Edwards Inn, as well as my Bridal Portraits in September. I can't say enough about Nick. My husband and I were looking for someone that would capture the emotions of our wedding day, and Nick did just that. I look back at my photos and can feel those same emotions today. I loved that Nick took the time to get to know both my husband and myself but also our families. It was a bonus to have Nick, as he was very familiar with Old Edwards Inn, and knew all the right places to capture the best lighting and shots. Nick is truly a bride's dream. He photographed our winter wedding and rehearsal dinner in Highlands, NC at the end of December. He was extremely thorough in the conversations prior to our event, getting to know what we really wanted/ did not want and establishing what to expect from him. During our rehearsal dinner he blended in like a guest and got AMAZING shots. I highly recommend adding this to your wedding package. Many friends and family have commented how they wish they had done this after seeing our photos. Like any bride, I was pretty nervous on the big day. Aside from his incredible photographs, this is where Nick really shines. His professional and calm demeanor gave me great comfort throughout the entire day. He was fabulous at directing wedding party members, come what may like freezing temperatures or a certain outspoken mother-in-law ;) Not only did he capture everything we wanted and more, Nick put both my husband and I at ease and ended up feeling like a friend or family member! Wedding guests kept commenting how fabulous he was! And then there are the photographs. Our photos tell the perfect story of our wedding weekend. He beautifully captured moments shared with our closest ones that we will treasure for a lifetime. We've had numerous comments from family saying he was the best they've ever seen or worked with, and we couldn't agree more. I was sad to say goodbye when it was all over! He also delivered beautiful photographs quickly compared to most photographers. Highly recommend!! Nick worked with us for our wedding day and he was an absolute pleasure. He captured our day with our vision in mind and was so helpful along the way (suggestions on timing and how the day might flow well with the best light, etc.). He is very good with family members/guests (even if they aren't all the easiest to get along with) and he was very comfortable to be around. He was also fantastic working alongside our florist and videographer. He thoughtfully sent us a few great photos to enjoy immediately after the wedding as well. Nick was amazing! We had a small family ceremony in the Highlands, and we could not have asked for a better photographer. He was more than we ever could have expected and his portfolio we had viewed initially did NOT do him justice (it was beautiful, but he is truly an artist!)! He has a warm and welcoming nature, we immediately felt comfortable with him, and he fit perfectly into the day. He was early, made sure to get our 'must have' shots and came up with great ideas for some incredible photos. He went above and beyond, and we were blown away by our pictures. Our friends and family are raving over them, and so far I've narrowed it down to 98 pictures I have to find a spot for in our house :). If you are looking for a photographer in the Highlands area, Nick is amazing choice. He is not only a wonderful photographer but is extremely professional, kind and has an unbelievable attention to detail. He knew all of us by name and remembered every picture we requested without ever looking at a list. He also stays extremely calm if something goes a little off track, he graciously guides the day back on schedule. I don't believe I would have had such an amazing stress free day without him. We had our photos (over 1000) back in less than two weeks and we had a preview of over 140 images in just a couple of days after the wedding.
